"The Gates of Arcadia" is a five-year project commissioned in 1998 by a collector in Arizona. The gates, pictured below, are for the pedestrian entryway to a private residence. Each gate is eight feet tall by seven feet wide and weighs approximately three tons. The total opening is fourteen feet. The facings are patinated, cast aluminum, mounted on steel frames. "The Gates" are divided into two parts, "The Procession" and "The March".
